![]() New feature and fixes in driver 496.49: Game Ready - This new Game Ready Driver provides support for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, which utilizes NVIDIA DLSS to boost performance by up to 2x. I don't think the card itself is faulty otherwise I would have experienced problems with running games by now (I played Mass Effect: Andromeda for 10 hours straight on Monday for example with no problems) and the benchmarks I've ran (3D Mark, Unigine Heaven 4.0 and Superposition, etc) all run fine. Game Ready Driver 496.49 has been released. ![]() not sure if that was a driver or Windows 10 Creators Edition issue though (not sure how software can cause a black screen immediately on turning on the PC though and before it has even loaded anything).Īny help would be appreciated. I do recall seeing threads from GTX 1080 owners experiencing the black screen issue on starting their PC. It seems unlikely to be a PSU issue since the card works 100% fine in Windows during heavy game/benchmark testing and I've not had a single crash or anything like that playing any game. After turning my PC off last night then same thing happened again this morning: a black screen on turning it on but again pressing Reset on the case booted into Windows the second time. The Power button wouldn't work on the case to turn off but hitting Reset booted into Windows the second time without any apparent issues. However, last night when I turned my PC on instead of seeing the ASUS UEFI screen briefly before my PC loaded into Windows I saw a black screen although the drive activity light was on. The only way to fix it is to restart the PC. I got my GTX 1080 Ti SC2 from EVGA last week (Tuesday, 25th April) and it has been working flawlessly across all the games I've played even when overclocked to 2,000 MHz on the core and 12 GHz on the VRAM. recently (last 3-4 months) I have encountered an issue where my screen randomly (Windows desktop, playing games, watching videos) turns black with NO SIGNAL message.
